Introducing Sarel
Sarel du Plessis, well-known winelands local, is a registered Medical Orthotist and Prosthetist. He completed his qualification in Medical Orthotics and Prosthetics at Tswane University of Technology in 1989 and opened his first practice in Pretoria in 1994. Four years later, he moved to picturesque Stellenbosch, and has since become a household name for top quality orthotic and prosthetic products, services, and customised offerings.
With 27 years of experience and a passion for his profession, he has provided thousands of people with increased mobility and a better quality of life.
His mission is to foster independent, active lives and prevent physical challenges from limiting life’s opportunities. With this mission in mind, our practice supplies best-in-class pre-manufactured and custom orthotic and prosthetic products, as well as cosmetic garments and home nursing equipment. We provide our patients with the best possible care and highest quality of service – to make the process of rehabilitation effective and enjoyable.
The practice
Our practice is situated in unit 15 Oewerpark, Die Boord, Stellenbosch and is compliant with all medical aids,
Road Accident Fund and Workman’s Compensation Fund.
We provide products and services to Stellenbosch and surrounding areas, including
Franschhoek, Somerset West, Strand, Paarl and more.
